Amy Wasdin

Amy Wasdin has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Amy began their career as a Registered Nurse at Southeast Georgia Health System in 1991 and worked in this role until 2004. Amy then transitioned into a leadership position as the Director of Risk Management at Southeast Georgia Health System from 2005 to 2012. In 2012, Amy joined The Doctors Company as a Patient Safety Risk Manager, where they provided consultative support and education in patient safety and risk management to physicians and healthcare providers. Amy recently advanced to the position of Director of Patient Safety Staff Education & Development at The Doctors Company in 2022.

Amy Wasdin obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brenau University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Armstrong State University from 1994 to 1996. Amy also has an Associates of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Brunswick College, which they completed from 1989 to 1991. In addition to their degrees, Amy obtained a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management from the American Hospital Association in 2009.
