Burt Stangarone

Burt Stangarone has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Burt is currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure at The Doctors Company since February 2022. Prior to this, they held a similar position at Healthcare Risk Advisors from August 2017 to March 2022.

Before that, Burt worked as the Manager of IT Operations at FOJP Service Corporation from March 2014 to July 2017, where they were responsible for managing the service desk, technology projects, and the development of the Helpdesk staff. Burt successfully maintained relationships with internal and external stakeholders and utilized exceptional problem-solving skills.

From July 2006 to March 2014, Burt served as a Sr. Systems Administrator at Graphic Systems Group, where they led project management and supervised junior staff members. Burt also presented business cases to company executives for project evaluation.

Burt gained experience as a Financial Support Specialist at Miller Tabak + Co., LLC from July 2005 to July 2006, providing systems support in a fast-paced financial environment.

Burt began their career as a Helpdesk Technician at Desimini Consulting in July 2002 and served until July 2005. During their time there, they provided solutions for a wide range of employees, including executives, and gained experience as a helpdesk supervisor.

Burt Stangarone holds a Masters in Business Computer Information Systems from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Towson University between 1998 and 2002. In addition to their formal education, Burt has obtained several certifications including (ISC)2 Security CISSP from (ISC)² in June 2021, ITIL Intermediate Operational Support & Analysis and ITIL Intermediate Planning, Protection & Optimization from EXIN in August 2016, and ITIL Foundation from EXIN in June 2015.
