Felipe Vargas serves as the Senior Vice President of Programs at The Doe Fund since March 2017, overseeing all programs, managing the organizational budget, and liaising with government agencies and community partners. Previously, Felipe held various positions at The Doe Fund, including Executive Director of Programs and Director of Programs, where responsibilities included program oversight, budget management, and staff recruitment. Felipe's earlier experience includes serving as Project Director for the Next Steps Program at the Research Foundation of The City University of New York, where oversight of correctional program initiatives was paramount. With a foundation in psychology and sociology from SUNY New Paltz, and advanced education in Urban Ministry and Non-Profit Management from New York Theological Seminary and Columbia Graduate School of Business, Felipe is well-equipped for leadership in program development and management in the non-profit sector.
