Carolyn is primarily responsible for Investor Relations for the 400+ investors in Dolben-sponsored investments, working directly with external private investors in connection with existing and potential ventures. She raises capital for private syndications, prepares offering books and Purchase Agreements, distributes quarterly and annual reporting, works with outside securities counsel to maintain Rule 506(b) compliance in all offerings, disseminates tax documentation, valuation letters, and arranges transfers/sales of interest. She is the liaison between the company and lenders, purchasers and sellers for transactions including the sale, financing, and disposition of real property, many of which include sophisticated multi-tiered financing and equity structures. Carolyn works with DOLBEN senior staff and owners to assess legal needs of the company and deal with routine legal matters such as LLC operating agreements and amendments, contract drafting and negotiation, investor and vendor agreements, litigation responses, and corporate governance.
Carolyn earned a B.A. from Fitchburg State College (cum laude) and earned her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School (cum laude). She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is a licensed Real Estate Broker for Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and North Carolina.
