Rebekah Sullivan

Lead Veterinary Surgeon -medicine at THE DONKEY SANCTUARY

Rebekah Sullivan has extensive work experience as a Veterinary Surgeon. Rebekah started their career at The Mount Veterinary Practice Ltd in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Rebekah then joined North Canterbury Veterinary Clinics in 2011 before moving to The Donkey Sanctuary in 2012, where they held the position of Lead Veterinary Surgeon for Medicine. In addition to their time at The Donkey Sanctuary, Rebekah has been involved in various volunteer and networking roles, including being a member of the Vet Sustain Champions Network and volunteering with StreetVet.

Rebekah Sullivan earned a BVSc degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bristol in 2005. Rebekah then pursued further education at the University of Liverpool, where they obtained a CertAVP(EM) PgCertVPS degree in Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Equine Internal Medicine from 2012 to 2015. Most recently, Rebekah attended The University of Edinburgh from 2019 to 2022, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in One Health.
