Nkechi-Kwasia Chambers

Nkechi-Kwasia Chambers is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth services and social work. Currently serving as a Relief Youth Specialist at SCO Family of Services since March 2023, Nkechi-Kwasia ensures youth safety and compliance with regulations, while also conducting emergency assessments. Involvement with The Door as a member of the General Programming Youth Council involves planning creative activities and facilitating community discussions. Previous roles include a Paraprofessional at RCM Technologies, a Social Work Intern at Kingsborough Community College where bio psychosocial assessments were conducted, and a Program Intern at Soul2Soulz, Inc., focusing on sponsorship research and administrative support. Earlier experience includes teaching preschool Sunday school at Metro World Child. Nkechi-Kwasia is pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work at Hunter College following an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Mental and Social Health Services from Kingsborough Community College.
