Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions and educational devices. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris focuses on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and flat panels, following a role as a firmware engineer in the same organization. Prior experience includes electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, responsible for the design and repair of educational devices, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier professional experience involves working at Grindcom as an electronics engineer, contributing to control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
