Karen Schleifer

Karen Schleifer is an experienced Production Stage Manager and Freelance Musician with a diverse background in theater and performance. Currently serving as the Production Stage Manager for Directorfest 2024 and the Production Supervisor for the 2024 Drama League Awards at The Drama League, Schleifer has held similar roles across various prestigious companies, including being the Production Stage Manager for SMALL by Robert Montano at both 59E59 Theaters and People's Light. With a career spanning several decades since joining Actors' Equity Association in 1978, Schleifer has managed significant events such as the Drama League Gala and has contributed to the production and stage management of numerous theatrical performances. Educationally, Schleifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Literature from Purchase College, reflecting a strong foundation in the arts and management.
