Alexa Drees Walker

Alexa Drees Walker has a range of experience in the design and construction industry. Starting in 2009, they interned at Design Environments Inc. In 2011, they worked as an assistant at Dan Binford & Associates before becoming an interior designer at Design Environments Inc. Alexa worked on various projects, including model homes and multifamily communities, collaborating with national home builders and developers. In 2013, Alexa joined Drees Homes as a Design Consultant, assisting homebuyers in selecting finishes and managing communication with construction managers and vendors. Alexa eventually became the Senior Design Consultant, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Design Center and streamlining the selection process by bringing design services in-house. In 2017, they were promoted to Director of Design Center, focusing on curating design trends and providing personalized experiences to homebuyers. Throughout their time at Drees Homes, Alexa maintained a high customer satisfaction rating.

Alexa Drees Walker completed their Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Miami University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they obtained the DC PRO (Design Consultant PROfessional) certification from The National Design Studio Institute in April 2022.
