Balaji Jayaraman

Balaji Jayaraman is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and mechatronics. Currently serving as the Lead Engineer for Flight Dynamics and Control at The ePlane Company, Balaji specializes in mathematical modeling, simulation, and aerodynamic data generation for eVTOL aircraft. Prior roles include Senior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, focusing on aerospace engineering research, and Assistant Professor at SRM IST Chennai, where Balaji advised student teams on aeromodelling projects. Balaji's career began with positions in engineering and education, including lecturer roles and project development in mechatronics. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, a Master’s in Mechatronics from Anna University, and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Pondicherry University.
