Julia Cooper

Julia Cooper is an opinion columnist at The American University Eagle since September 2023 and currently serves as an intern at Capitol Advocates, LLC. Previous experiences include internships at Women’s Action for New Directions, where responsibilities involved social media content creation, grant support, and op-ed research; Beyond the Bomb; and Northern Virginia Family Service, focusing on early childhood education. Julia's educational background encompasses a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from American University, along with studies at Bryn Mawr College and various institutions, including a focus on nuclear non-proliferation and international relations.
