Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC)
Christopher Chung has extensive experience in economic development and business attraction. Christopher served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) starting in 2015. Prior to that, they were the President and CEO of the Missouri Partnership from 2007 to 2014. At the Missouri Partnership, they led efforts to market the state for new business investment and recruit corporate operations. Christopher also has experience in the Ohio Department of Development, where they served as the Manager of the Office of Business Development and Manager of Site Selection and Special Projects. In these roles, they directed the state's efforts to attract new business investment and facilitated large-scale business expansion projects.
Christopher Chung pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1994, they began their undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and completed their Bachelor's Degree in Japanese and Economics in 1998. Afterward, from 2003 to 2007, Christopher resumed their education at the same institution and partially completed a Master's Degree in Public Policy.

We work together with the Governor and the Department of Commerce to help businesses launch, grow and locate in our state. Our far-reaching network is made up of government officials, local and regional economic development organizations, service providers, international business, tourism and trade executives, community leaders and educational institutions. We also publish research on key business, trade and industry trends affecting our state, and actively track facilities and sites available for relocation.
