Joyce Spivey, MBA, serves as the NCMEP Program Manager at the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) since July 2017, providing leadership for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program and overseeing operational support and financial administration. Prior to this role, Joyce worked as the Grants and Finance Officer at the NC Arts Council, managing budgets and grant payments, and held various positions including Grant Management Accountant at the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Financial Analyst at the NC Rural Economic Development Center, and Office Manager at Three Seasons Catering. Joyce also has extensive experience in auditing and product support from roles at Lenovo and IBM. Joyce holds an MBA from Pfeiffer University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan University.

The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC) leads economic development activities in North Carolina. We work together with the Governor and the Department of Commerce to help businesses launch, grow and locate in our state. Our far-reaching network is made up of government officials, local and regional economic development organizations, service providers, international business, tourism and trade executives, community leaders and educational institutions. We also publish research on key business, trade and industry trends affecting our state, and actively track facilities and sites available for relocation.
