Andrew is a senior member of EIU’s Global Forecasting team, specializing in global economic trends, business environment risks, international trade, investment and supply chains. Based in Washington DC, he regularly advises clients on the practical implications of policy developments, political risks and global economic and geopolitical shocks.
Andrew leads EIU’s analysis on international commerce and regulation, and manages EIU’s Country Commerce research team. He also produces economic, politics and policy forecasts on the US and North America, with a special focus on US politics. He is a frequent presenter of EIU’s forecasts to the media, at conferences and at high-level meetings with international clients across the public, private and non-profit sectors. He also has served as a consultant and advisor on a number of bespoke research projects.
Andrew has worked for EIU for over a decade, joining the senior research team in 2015 and previously serving as a regulations analyst. He also worked for the World Bank on economic development, trade and migration. He is a graduate of Georgetown University (BA), the London School of Economics (MSc) and the University of Chicago (MPP), where he was a Dean’s scholar.
