The Economist
Daniella Raz is currently a Data Journalist and US Correspondent at The Economist, a position held since May 2021. Previously, Daniella served as a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan from 2018 to 2020 and was a Data Science for Social Good Fellow at the University of Washington eScience Institute in mid-2019. An internship at Google in 2018 provided additional experience prior to working as a Research Analyst on the Arab Barometer Project at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research from 2016 to 2018. Earlier internships included roles at معهد الرباط للدراسات الاجتماعية in 2017 and B'Tselem - The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories in 2014. Daniella Raz holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan - School of Information and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic & Islamic Studies and Political Science, with a minor in Applied Statistics, from the University of Michigan.
