Tor Bengtsson

Tor Bengtsson has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Tor most recently worked as the Head of Corporate and Enterprise at The Economist starting from January 2024. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Revenue Officer at Airfinity Ltd from November 2021 to December 2023. Before joining Airfinity Ltd, Tor held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Sales at Clarivate Analytics from February 2019 to November 2021. Tor also worked at IHS Markit as the Vice President, Global Sales, Upstream Energy from December 2016 to February 2019, and as the VP EMEA from January 2013 to December 2016. Additionally, they served as the Managing Director at Techlightenment, a subsidiary of Experian, in 2012. Prior to that, Tor was the Commercial Director at Experian from 2007 to 2012. Tor has also held leadership positions at Travelex Currency Services Ltd as the Managing Director from 2004 to 2007, and at Travelex (and Thomas Cook Global & Financial Services) as the General Manager from 2000 to 2004. Tor's career began at Tetra Pak in 1989, where they served as the Commercial Director until 2000. Overall, Tor has demonstrated their expertise and leadership skills in various industries and roles throughout their professional journey.

Tor Bengtsson completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) at INSEAD in 1999. Tor then pursued a Master of Science (MSC) in Marketing & Product Management from Cranfield School of Management between 1986 and 1987. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Exeter from 1983 to 1986.
