Emma Ashdown

Emma Ashdown has experience as a Nurseries Strategic Lead & Nominated Individual at The Education People, where Emma oversees the running of three nurseries, supports managers and leaders, manages budgets, recruitment, and marketing, among other responsibilities. Prior to this, Emma worked as a Nursery Manager at different organizations, focusing on leading and improving teaching, observing ofsted inspections, and ensuring family involvement. Emma also worked as a Free for Two Engagement Officer at Kent County Council, engaging with families and promoting funding. Emma holds a Foundation degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Canterbury Christ Church University.
