Martine Rhéaume has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles. Martine is currently working as the Director of New Product Development at L'effet A since December 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Content Strategist at the same company from January 2020 to December 2021.
In 2015, Martine worked as a Marketing Copywriter on a freelance basis, providing services such as copywriting, editing, and web content optimization for clients including Orchestre Métropolitain, Tourisme Montréal, belairdirect, Intact assurances, M Médiavox, and DDB Montréal.
From April 2019 to January 2020, they held the position of Content Strategist at GSoft. Before that, they were the Managing Editor and Content Lead at C2 Montréal from January 2017 to April 2019.
Martine also has experience working at TC Media Livres, where they served as Managing Editor from May 2014 to June 2016 and as a Content Editor from January 2011 to May 2014.
Martine worked as an Adaptor-Translator at Jet-Setter from August 2008 to January 2011, and served as an Editor at Intersections Revue de musique des universités canadiennes from 2008 to 2011.
In addition to their work in the industry, Martine has contributed to the education sector. Martine worked as a Lecturer in Music History at Collège Lionel-Groulx from August 2010 to December 2010 and as a Lecturer in Social Sciences Methodology for Musicians at Université de Montréal from September 2009 to April 2010. Martine also worked as a Research Assistant at Université de Montréal from December 2002 to May 2010 and as a Teaching Assistant from September 2003 to May 2006.
Martine Rhéaume briefly worked as a Lecturer in Music History at Cégep Sainte-Foy from August 2007 to December 2007.
Martine Rhéaume's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music History from Université Laval, which was completed from 1999 to 2002. Martine then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Musicology from Université de Montréal from 2002 to 2005. Following that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Musicology from Université de Montréal from 2005 to 2010. In 2011, Martine earned an Undergraduate Certificate in Advertising from Université de Montréal. Finally, from 2013 to 2016, they acquired a Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Management with a specialization in communication marketing from HEC Montréal.
