Khalil is a renewable energy finance and operations veteran. Khalil started his energy career in a renewable energy group in a fortune 100 organization where he led and managed structuring, financial modeling, valuation, and internal approval for over $200 million of investments in solar projects. He also facilitated valuation and pricing models for other renewable energy assets, such as, energy efficiency, CHP, fuel cells, battery storage, and traditional backup generation. Before joining TEN, Khalil oversaw corporate and project finance activities as SVP, Head of Finance at Empower Energies, Bethesda Maryland.
Khalil holds a BA in Economics from University of Chicago and an MBA and MS in Finance from University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
