Patrick Lacey

Patrick Lacey is an experienced music engineering professional and educator currently serving as an instructor at CanCode Communities, where responsibilities include guiding trainees through Python courses and designing an AI/ML curriculum. Concurrently, Patrick works as a stagehand for Frost Productions and as part of the stage crew at The Egg Performing Arts Center, where notable acts such as Gordon Lightfoot and Blue Oyster Cult have performed. Previous roles include recording sound engineer at the University of Miami, where recordings for various ensembles were managed, and participation in 'Cane Records as a producer, songwriter, and performer. Additionally, Patrick has contributed as a songwriter for Cat 5 Music, oversaw equipment usage as a computer lab monitor, and gained early experience as a stage crew member and audio engineer with HIGH PEAKS SOUND INC, as well as programming and hosting roles at WVCR 88.3 The Saint. Patrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Engineering from the University of Miami.
