Andrew Simpson

Andrew Simpson currently serves as the Head of Digital, Data, Technology and Facilities at The Electoral Commission since June 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew held various positions at the Public and Commercial Services Union from June 1998 to June 2022, including Head of Facilities, Finance and ITT, and Head of HR, ITT, and Facilities. Andrew was instrumental in delivering online joining and Direct Debit management initiatives, as well as overseeing ITT projects and maintaining excellent service for members. Andrew's technical expertise includes experience as a Systems Administrator with a focus on Novell and related server management. Andrew holds a BSc HONS in Computing Science (Information Systems) from the University of Greenwich, obtained between 1997 and 2000.
