Mark Williams

Mark Williams has extensive experience in the fields of policy and education. Currently serving as Policy Manager at The Electoral Commission since April 2001, Mark has also held the position of Assistant Policy Manager. Prior to this role, Mark worked as a Lecturer and Tutor in Politics at The University of Liverpool and Nottingham Trent University from September 1994 to February 2001, and as a Lecturer and Research Assistant in Environmental Politics at The University of Sheffield from 1997 to 1999. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Politics from The University of Sheffield between 1994 and 1999, and furthered professional development by obtaining a Certificate in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute from 2007 to 2009.
