Annie Rasiel is an experienced English educator currently teaching at The Elisabeth Morrow School since August 2018. Previously, Annie served as a Student Teacher at the Special Music School and The Young Women's Leadership School of East Harlem, where Annie taught seventh and twelfth-grade humanities and English, respectively. Annie founded and directed the Oberlin Children's Shakespeare Project, creating performance curricula for middle school students while also conducting workshops. Additional experience includes coordinating a middle school tutoring program with America Reads and serving as a legislative intern for Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand. Annie holds a Master's degree in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in English from Oberlin College.
