Emily Quint

Speech-Language Pathologist at The Emerge Center

Emily joined the Emerge team in March of 2021. She currently holds her Louisiana Speech-Language Pathology License and American Speech-Language and Hearing Association’s Certificate of Clinical Competency. Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Louisiana State University in 2017, and she received a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2019. She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year while living in Houston working with the pediatric population in a small, privately-owned clinic. Emily loves working directly with each child’s parents, as she is a firm believer that carryover activities play a key role in helping children progress toward their goals. Providing therapy to little ones is where her heart is, and she especially enjoys working with children diagnosed with receptive/expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. Emily looks forward to coming to work each day and watching her kiddos’ faces light up as they interact with each other during their individual and/or group therapy sessions.
