Leilei Xiong

Leilei Xiong, PhD, is a seasoned professional in energy market analytics with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Manager of Energy Market Analytics at The Energy Authority since February 2019, Xiong has held various positions including Senior Congestion Rights Analyst and Congestion Rights Analyst. Previous experience includes research and teaching roles at Georgia Institute of Technology, where significant contributions included the development of advanced computational techniques and leadership in innovative software projects. Xiong also served as a Project Engineer at GE Energy, overseeing protection and control engineering for utility projects and managing a successful internship program. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
