Casie Yoder

Program Director, Southeast Communications at Energy Foundation

Casie Yoder has extensive experience in communications and consulting roles. Casie currently works at the Energy Foundation as the Program Director, Southeast Communications. In this position, they administer and authors grants to promote sustainability and clean energy communications across the Southeast region of the US. Prior to this, Casie served as the Southeast Communications Director, Energy Media at Resource Media, where they led communications strategies in the Southeast region, specifically focusing on driving investments in clean energy within underserved communities. Casie has also worked as a Consultant for various organizations, including being the Georgia State Director for Election Defenders. Casie is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Casie Yoder Consulting, where they operated from 2016 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Casie served as the Public Information Officer for the City of Decatur and worked in communication and campaign roles for different organizations such as George Washington University, UFCW, National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), and AFL CIO.

Casie Yoder's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Georgia State University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. During their time at Georgia State, they focused on journalism with a concentration in public relations and also completed a minor in political science.

In 2014, Casie Yoder earned a Certificate from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at The University of Georgia. This certificate program specialized in Local Government Management.

Currently, Casie Yoder is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Eastern Mennonite University. Casie commenced this program in 2022 and is expected to complete it by 2024. Casie'sfield of study within the Collaborative MBA program is not specified.
