Jonathan Lonian

Jonathan Lonian, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse background in human resources with experience in various industries. Jonathan is currently Vice President of People and Culture at the Energy Foundation, where they lead efforts to improve employee and candidate experience. Prior to this role, Jonathan was the Senior Director of Human Resources at the Energy Foundation and also served as the Interim Human Resources Director on a contract basis. Their responsibilities included enhancing the performance and impact of the HR function, advising the Senior Leadership Team, and overseeing areas such as performance management, talent acquisition, benefits, and employee relations.

Before joining the Energy Foundation, Jonathan worked as an HR Business Partner at Rigetti Computing on a contract basis. Jonathan also served as the Director of Human Resources at Cantina, a digital innovation firm, where they were responsible for building HR structures and enhancing employee and candidate experience.

Jonathan has a solid foundation in HR, with experience as a Senior HR Business Partner at BMC HealthNet Plan/Well Sense Health Plan, where they partnered with senior leaders on strategic initiatives and designed HR practices and initiatives for the organization. Jonathan also worked as an HR Business Partner at WGBH, where they partnered with senior leaders on talent strategies and successfully implemented an automated performance management program.

In addition, Jonathan has served as a Human Resources Consultant at TransUnion LLC and as a Human Resources Representative at Putnam Investments. Jonathan started their career at MTV Networks as an Associate Producer.
