Melissa Monsalve

Melissa Monsalve is a skilled program coordinator currently managing Northeast regional budgets for the Energy Foundation since May 2022. With experience in fiscal oversight and program management from the New York State Department of State, Melissa has demonstrated expertise in auditing and technical assistance in various capacities, including as a Special Projects Associate and Community Liaison. A former appointee under the Obama Administration at the Administration for Children and Families and the U.S. Geological Survey, Melissa has engaged in policy research and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, Melissa participated as a cohort member in the Voltage Vixens course focused on home electrification and renewable energy in summer 2023. Melissa holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies and Sociology from Connecticut College.
