Oriana Magnera

Oriana Magnera is an experienced program manager specializing in energy, climate, and transportation policy. Currently serving as Program Manager for West Policy at Energy Foundation since April 2023, Oriana previously advanced climate and energy justice as Energy, Climate, and Transportation Manager at Verde from January 2019 to March 2023. Oriana's notable accomplishments include leading the Zero Cities Project, where community-driven forums addressed housing and utility issues for BIPOC communities. Earlier roles included outreach and policy advocacy at NW Energy Coalition, managing the campaign for Measure 98 to improve high school graduation rates, and serving as Communications Manager for the Center for Digital Storytelling through AmeriCORPS VISTA. Oriana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Women's and Gender Studies from Columbia University, with a focus on Comparative Ethnic Studies and Media Theory.
