Rydwan Anwar

Rydwan A. is an experienced arts professional currently serving as the Acting Head of Visual Arts at The Esplanade Co Ltd since September 2019, managing a team dedicated to exhibitions and visual arts programming. Previously, Rydwan held roles including Head and Assistant Head of Theatre, overseeing various theatre projects and audience development. Additional experience includes consulting for Jentayu Gallery Wedding & Events and producing for major arts festivals such as the Singapore International Festival of Arts with Arts House Limited. Rydwan's earlier roles at Esplanade included Producer, Associate Producer, and Programming Officer, where significant productions and partnerships were developed. Rydwan's educational background includes a Master's degree in Creative & Cultural Industries from King's College London and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Studies and European Studies from the National University of Singapore.
