Sagrario Martinez-Martinez

Sagrario Martinez-Martinez has an extensive work experience of over 20 years. Sagrario started their career in 1999 as a Research Chemist at DNAP. In 2000, they joined Monsanto (Vegetable Seeds Division) as a Research Associate Lead at the Vegetable Quality and Nutrition Research Lab in Woodland, CA. There, they were a Lab supervisor, HPLC and GC analyst, safety trainer, and Project manager. In 2016, they joined Monsanto Vegetable Seeds (Seminis) as an Analytics Scientist. Two years later, they moved to Bayer Crop Science as a Protein Production Scientists and Analytics Scientist. Currently, they are working as a Laboratory Operations Manager at EVERY™ since 2022.

Sagrario Martinez-Martinez has a comprehensive educational background. Sagrario earned their M.S. in Biotechnology from the Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1994 and 1996, and their B.S. in Food Industries Engineering from the same institution between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the Project Management Foundations series from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2022, the STAR User Training Certification from Hamilton Robotics in 2014, the First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor (English/Spanish) from the American Red Cross in 2013, and the People Leadership Learning Series I.
