James Harlan

James Harlan has had a diverse work experience in the field of creative design and direction. James currently holds the position of Sr. Creative Director at The Expo Group since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Creative Director, Accounts at The Expo Group from September 2019. James also served as a Senior Designer at The Expo Group for a brief period from May 2019 to September 2019.

Before joining The Expo Group, James Harlan worked at EEI Global for a significant period. James held the role of Creative Director, where they were responsible for client discovery, creative meetings, and client presentations. James provided creative direction for various marketing campaigns and executed experiential/exhibit projects. James also served as a Senior 3D Designer, creating 3D architectural structures for trade shows, events, and marketing campaigns. Additionally, they worked as a 3D Designer, Graphic Design Director, and Graphic Designer, showcasing their expertise in design and management.

Prior to EEI Global, James Harlan worked at Grafika as a Graphic Designer, handling graphic design, digital print preparation, and production. James also worked at EWI Worldwide as a Senior Graphic Designer.

James Harlan attended the College for Creative Studies from 1990 to 1992, where they studied Transportation Design.
