Yasmin Gibson, CMP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the events and trade show industry. Yasmin is currently serving as the Director of Service Operations & Vendor Relations at The Expo Group since December 2022. Prior to that, Yasmin held several roles at Freeman Company, including Director of Client Solutions from February 2019 to December 2022, Assistant Director of Client Solutions from January 2018 to February 2019, Client Solutions Manager from February 2014 to January 2018, and Senior Exhibitor Services Representative from January 2008 to February 2014. Throughout their career, they have effectively managed client relationships, coordinated event operations, and improved workflow efficiency.

Yasmin Gibson, CMP holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Georgia State University. Yasmin has obtained various certifications including Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Convention Industry Council and the Events Industry Council. Additionally, they have completed several online courses from Lynda.com on topics such as project management, personal branding, leadership, and mindfulness. In 2024, they also obtained a certification titled "Creative Ways to Connect with Attendees" from Northstar Meetings Group. In 2005, they completed a course on Tradeshow and Meetings Management at the Cecil B Day School of Hospitality at Georgia State University.
