Dasol Shin

Dasol Shin currently serves as the Chief Representative of the Laos Office at the Export-Import Bank of Korea, focusing on developing mid-term projects in line with Laos' development goals and managing ongoing infrastructure initiatives in climate adaptation and health. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Credit Analyst and various positions within the bank's Evaluation and Operation Review Department, Compliance Department, and Plant Project Finance Department, where responsibilities ranged from analyzing credit risks in the automobile sector to overseeing environmental and social safeguards for development projects. Dasol Shin holds a Master of Science in Climate Change, Development, and Policy from the University of Sussex, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Yonsei University, complemented by an exchange program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
