Maya Iturra is a licensed marriage and family therapist with extensive experience in therapy, education, and research within the mental health field. Presently serving as a licensed marriage and family therapist and supervisor at Individual and Family Healing, LLC, as well as a clinical lecturer at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, Maya provides individual and family therapy to diverse populations and supports research initiatives. Additional roles include research assistant positions at the Latinx Mental Health and Social Justice Institute and previously at Antioch University New England, where contributions to research design and data analysis were made. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Antioch University New England, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Saint Martin's University, and a B.A. in Social Science from The Evergreen State College.
