Alex Zhou Thorp

Alex Zhou Thorp, CFA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Associate Director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since July 2017. Alex's career began with various internships, including roles at the Federal Reserve Bank, US Trade Representative, and U.S. Department of the Treasury. Alex also co-founded and owned the American Global Academy from 2012 to 2015. Academic qualifications include a Master's in Information and Data Science from UC Berkeley School of Information, a Master's in International Economics and China Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a B.A. in International Studies from American University, along with multiple international studies and certifications in computer science and languages.
