Maximilian Dunn

Maximilian Dunn, CFA, currently serves as the US Treasury Trading and Analytics Manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, leading a team of over 10 specialists in Treasury market analysis since February 2014. Previous roles include managing the Euro Foreign Exchange Reserves Portfolio and functioning as a China-focused FX Trader/Analyst, where extensive research and analysis on Chinese financial markets and PBOC policy were conducted. Prior to their tenure at the Federal Reserve, Maximilian worked as a Summer Economist at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, a Research and Planning Coordinator at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and held positions as a Winter Paralegal at McDermott Will & Emery and a Summer Associate at Bank of Montreal. Academic qualifications include an M.A. in International Economics and China Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS, a Certificate in China Studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center, a B.A. in Economics and Mandarin Chinese from Kenyon College, and a Certificate in Chinese language and economics from Peking University.
