Melissa Mason

Melissa Mason currently serves as the Director of Business Operations and Chief Administrative Officer for the Legal & Compliance Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a position held since March 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Director of Legal Operations and Strategy at McKinsey & Company from February 2019 to March 2025, and as the Litigation Practice Group Director at Dechert LLP from January 2015 to February 2019. Earlier roles include Corporate Practice Group Administrator at Kaye Scholer LLP from November 2012 to January 2015. Melissa Mason holds an Executive Education certificate from The Wharton School, a Master’s of Professional Studies in Law Firm Management from The George Washington University, a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Virginia, and a Paralegal certification in Legal Studies from New York University.
