Nora Fitzpatrick

Nora Fitzpatrick currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Communications & Outreach at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York since February 2001. Additionally, Nora has held the position of Fellow at the Penn Institute for Urban Research since November 2021, contributing to interdisciplinary urban research and civic engagement. Previous roles include serving as Transition CFO and Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in early 2017, and holding a political appointment as Senior Advisor to the Lt. Governor in New York State, where budget leadership was a key responsibility. Earlier experience includes financial analyst roles at Related Companies and Fortress Investment Group, as well as serving as Assistant to the Mayor in Jersey City. Nora holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Public Administration in Public Finance from New York University.
