John Wells

John Wells has a diverse work experience, starting as an Assistant Marketing Manager at KPMG China in 2004. Their roles included handling external and corporate communications, as well as overseeing proposal documents. Subsequently, they moved on to become a Manager in Market Services, where they focused on digital marketing, competitor analysis, and managing the corporate intranet. In 2010, they transitioned into the role of Manager of Knowledge Management, working on developing and implementing the firm's knowledge management strategy at KPMG China. Later in 2014, they joined the Financial Conduct Authority, where they held roles including Team Leader for Business Excellence & Change and Management Information & Data Lead for Operational Excellence.

John Wells attended Comberton Village College from 1989 to 1994, where they completed their GCSEs. John then went on to Hills Road Sixth Form College, Cambridge from 1994 to 1996, where they obtained 3 A-Levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics. Finally, they pursued their BSc. (Hons) in Physics at Durham University from 1996 to 1999.
