Christina Hellmich is a highly experienced curator specializing in Oceanic and African arts. Christina has worked at the deYoung Museum in San Francisco since 2005, holding various titles within the Department of Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. Prior to that, Christina spent a decade at the Peabody Essex Museum. Hellmich holds a Ph.D. in History of Art and Visual Culture from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
