Kathleen Forrest, MSIS, currently serves as the Interim Collections Information Manager and Collections Database Administrator at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, where expertise in implementing a new museum collections database has been demonstrated through the development of procedures, standards, and workflows, as well as facilitating cross-departmental collaborations. Previous experience includes a Data Science Research Fellow position at Drexel University, focusing on natural language processing and machine learning applications with the Smithsonian Library and Archives. Kathleen has also contributed as an Exhibitions Intern at The Dolph Briscoe Center for American History and as a Graduate Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin, alongside various roles in community engagement and membership coordination. Kathleen holds an MS in Information Science/Studies and a BA in Art History, Criticism and Conservation.
