Ahmed Shehta

Ahmed Shehta has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Ahmed started their career as an Internship Trainee at Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts in 2008. Ahmed then worked as a Front Office Agent (Pre-opening) at Jaz Hotels, Resorts & Cruises from 2010 to 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Front Office Team Leader at Marriott International. Ahmed joined Sofitel in 2013, where they worked as a Front Office Supervisor (Pre-opening Team) until 2016 and later as a Head Butler until 2018. Ahmed then joined Caesars Bluewaters Dubai as a Hotel Duty Manager (Pre-opening Team) from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, Ahmed started working at Rixos Hotels, first as a Night Manager from 2020 to 2021, and then as an Assistant Manager (Pre-opening) from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at The First Group, where they have held two roles, starting as a Front Desk Manager from 2022 to 2023 and now as an Assistant Front Office Manager (HOD) since 2023. Their experience spans various managerial roles within the hospitality sector, showcasing their expertise and progression in the industry.

Ahmed Shehta's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Alexandria University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History in 2009. Following this, in 2009 and 2010, Ahmed pursued further education at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, where they obtained a Diploma of Education specializing in Tourism and Travel Services Management. Lastly, in 2017, Ahmed attended The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, focusing on Hospitality Administration/Management.
