Michael Trahan

Michael Trahan, CPA, CITP, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at The First State Bank since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Financial Reporting Supervisor at American Momentum Bank (March 2021 - December 2022) and Assistant Vice President at Spirit of Texas Bank (August 2012 - March 2021), where responsibilities encompassed preparing board reports, general ledger management, and liaising with auditors and regulators. Michael's early experience includes positions in SBA loan operations and sales, as well as managing a branch of College Works Painting. Academically, Michael holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor's of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University.
