Irving Segarra

Irving Segarra possesses extensive experience in healthcare administration and medical assistance, currently holding an administrative services position at BronxCare Health System and serving as a medical assistant at The Floating Hospital since December 2019. Prior roles include health information management and patient access representation at Morris Heights Health Center (May 2016 - November 2019), ER registration clerk at NYC Health + Hospitals (September 2015 - December 2015), and administrative assistant at New York Physician’s (April 2014 - August 2015). Segarra worked in health information management at URBAN HEALTH PLAN, INC. from January 2002 to March 2014. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Monroe University, Segarra holds an Associate of Applied Science in Medical/Clinical Assistant from Mildred Elley (August 2021 - May 2023) and has completed General Studies at CUNY Hostos Community College (2013 - 2015).
