Philip Ryan

Philip Ryan serves as the Medical Director at Nucleus Network since January 2021, overseeing medical leadership at the Melbourne site and holding the role of Principal Investigator for Phase I Clinical Trials. Concurrently, Philip is the Group Leader for the Systems Neuroscience Theme at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, focusing on neural circuits related to ingestive behaviors and emotional disorders, and has received multiple prestigious grants, including the ARC DECRA Fellowship. Previous roles include consulting for Curio, a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Washington, and a Medical Registrar at various institutions, including The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Philip holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Melbourne.
