Kai Garel

Kai Garel is a seasoned professional in legislative affairs, currently serving as a Senior Legislative Aide to State Senator Shevrin Jones at The Florida Senate since March 2023, following a promotion from Legislative Aide and prior experience as a Legislative Intern assigned to State Senator Corey Simon. Garel has also held leadership roles in the Florida State Interfraternity Council, including President and Vice President of Internal Affairs, overseeing significant budgets and serving as a liaison between various university bodies. Additional experience includes positions with Seminole Student Boosters, Friedman & Abrahamsen Attorneys at Law, Floridian Partners, and the U.S. House of Representatives. Garel holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Criminology and a Master of Public Administration from Florida State University.
