Bethany Atwell

Bethany Atwell is the current Director of Ticketing at The Florida Theatre. Bethany has experience working in various administrative and customer service positions.

Bethany began their career as an administrative assistant to Dr. Alexander Jiménez, Director of Orchestras at Florida State University. In this role, they provided administrative support to the director and helped with various tasks related to the College of Music. Bethany then went on to work as a box office apprentice at the Spoleto Festival USA. In this role, they assisted with ticket sales and customer service.

In January 2020, Bethany became the Patron Services Supervisor at the Coppell Arts Center. The center is a 30,000 square foot, city-owned facility that opened during their tenure. Bethany was responsible for managing all Front of House operations, including hiring and training house managers and recruiting 200+ volunteer ushers. Bethany also coordinated with City of Coppell Facilities on building maintenance and projects. In June 2021, Bethany left their position at the Coppell Arts Center to become the Director of Ticketing at The Florida Theatre.

Bethany Atwell has a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from Florida State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Flute Performance from Wheaton College. Bethany also has certification from the International Association of Venue Managers in Venue Management School - Year 1.
