John Ranheim currently serves as Vice President and Senior Consultant at The FOCUS Group, a nonprofit dedicated to raising capital and cultivating major donors. Since January 2022, John has contributed to the organization's mission, which has been active since 1982, by developing marketing strategies and managing capital campaigns. Prior to this role, John held multiple positions at Covenant Theological Seminary from 2005 to January 2022, including Vice President for Advancement, Senior Director of Development, and Director of Development. John earned a Certificate in Fundraising Management from Indiana University Indianapolis, a Master of Divinity in Theology from Covenant Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Whitworth University.
