Simrath Parmar is currently a Political Affairs Intern at The Borgen Project, focusing on advocacy efforts related to global poverty policies. Simrath also serves as an Operations Committee Member for the Fordham University United Student Government at Lincoln Center, where responsibilities include representing student concerns and facilitating the establishment of campus organizations. In addition, contributions to The Fordham Observer include editing articles and writing opinion pieces that highlight relevant political and social issues. Prior experience includes a Clerical Internship at Tomes Law Firm and an internship with Senator Vin Gopal, which involved constituent communication and policy research. Simrath is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Fordham University, anticipating graduation in May 2026, and previously earned a high school diploma from Trinity Hall NJ.
